Will Grier did not visit North Carolina as previously planned. The quarterback from Davidson (N.C.) Day said he will now visit Chapel Hill for the North Carolina State game on Oct. 27. More visits are on the way.
“I'm going to try to get to as many games as I can,” Grier said.
Since Davidson has an off-week this weekend, Grier is considering a trip further from home. LSU is a likely destination, he said. LSU plays Towson on Saturday.
Grier was at his best on Friday. In just the first half, the junior completed 16-of-20 passes for 282 yards and ran for 198 yards and two touchdowns on Friday as Davidson pounded Asheville (N.C.) High on Friday.
