ESPN 300 running back A.J. Turman (Orlando, Fla./Boone) took an unofficial visit to Tennessee with his mother this weekend to watch the Vols take on the Florida Gators. The 6-foot 198-pound four-star athlete said he enjoyed his visit to Knoxville.
"It was a good visit," Turman said. "I got to see a lot of things that I hadn't seen before. Me and my mom had a good time. We liked the school and it was a good atmosphere. There were a lot of people there, it was a big crowd. It reminded me of the Alabama-LSU game from last year. There was a lot of support, they were screaming. It was real nice and a place I'd like to play at one day."
Despite Tennessee's disappointing 37-20 loss to Florida, Turman said he enjoyed the game and envisioned what it would be like to play in the Tennessee offense.
