Things just keep getting better for class of 2014 running back Tony James (Gainesville, Fla./Gainesville).
Shortly after helping his team earn a 17-14 victory over Lake City (Fla.) Columbia, the 5-foot-9, 175-pound junior revealed his latest offer.
"I received an offer from FSU today. It's real exciting," James said. "I would say they are tied with Florida as my leaders."
James later added that it was a three-way tie between Florida, Florida State and Miami. The junior was in attendance at the Swamp last week to watch Florida win a hard-fought game over Bowling Green.
"It was a close game. Give Bowling Green a lot of credit," James said. "I thought they would just blow them out, but Bowling Green played tough."
James said he will see a Florida State game soon and could go next week when FSU hosts Wake Forest or the week after for the Clemson game. He also wants to take a look at Ohio State, which offered over the summer.
"I'm going to try and check several of the programs out that are interested," James said. "Most of the coaches are saying that like my speed, and they think I can be a good fit in their programs, so I want to take a look."
Utah, South Florida, Georgia Tech and UCLA are some of the other programs that have offered James.
