In the first two games this season, Walton High has played two games past midnight. Quarterback Parker McLeod (Marietta, Ga./Walton), an Alabama commitment, is hoping to a return to normalcy can help him iron out some kinks.
"It feels good being 2-0," McLeod said. "Obviously this is the second week we have been playing to about one in the morning, so not optimal conditions. It was a messy game and we did not play very well, so it was likely too close for us, but we were happy to get out of here with a win."
McLeod has completed 16 of 29 passes for 134 yards. He is not thrilled with how his senior season started, but the three-star prospect knows he does not always have to make all of the plays in order for his team to win.
