Running back Cornelius Elder has two new scholarships to ponder.
UCLA and Iowa have recently joined the 10-plus schools to offer a scholarship to the tailback from Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth.
"They are pretty cool," the ESPN 300 prospect texted to ESPN about the two latest offers. "Usually have good programs."
Elder, who also has offers from Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Vanderbilt, said he's not sure where he'll take his official visits this fall. He has long expressed a desire to play college basketball instead of football if the right offer comes along.
Elder has run for 418 yards and four touchdowns in two games this season.
