Class of 2014 athlete Juan Jenkins (Gainesville, Fla./Gainesville) has made no secret of his desire to play for the University of Florida, and the 5-foot-11, 190-pound athlete hoped his performance at Friday Night Lights moved him close to his dream offer.
"They asked me to work out at safety and cornerback, and it was a good move for me," Jenkins said. "I enjoyed working with coach [Travaris Robinson] and I think defensive back is the position I'll be being in college."
Jenkins currently plays linebacker at Gainesville. He received an offer from Utah over the summer and has taken visits to Miami and South Florida.
