LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Four-star safety prospect Marcell Harris (Orlando, Fla./Dr. Phillips) of the Southwest team, left the Champions Gridiron Kings semifinal game against the Midwest team with leg fatigue and ankle injury.
Harris, the No. 66-ranked player in the nation and No. 7 at his position, says it's not a serious injury, but will not return for the remainder of the day.
The 6-foot-1, 207-pound safety is set to announce his top five Sunday afternoon.
See file footage of Harris at RecruitingNation. From ESPN's scouting evaluation of Harris: "Harris is a good looking safety prospect with top-end range and size. He is may come across more as a run supporting safety with his good size and physicality but this guy can hold up in man coverage and make plays in the back-end. Tall, well-built with the length to continue filling out. Possesses very good closing speed and burst to the football."
