KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee is the latest to jump on the Jeb Blazevich bandwagon.
The Volunteers offered a scholarship to the tight end from Charlotte (N.C.) Christian after his performance in Tuesday's camp. They are hardly the first. Since putting on 40 pounds following the 2011 season, Blazevich has picked up over a dozen scholarship offers. Learning about the Vols was his main goal this week.
"I'm very grateful they had me out there," he said. "I love their facilities. I lvoe being out here and able to compete. I don't really know much about them but I'm excited for the opportunity to learn more about them."
Blazevich also has scholarship offers from North Carolina, Duke, South Carolina, Maryland, Georgia, Ohio State, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Florida, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Clemson and Virginia.
