ESPN 150 athlete Levonte "Kermit" Whitfield (Orlando, Fla./Jones) is coming off of visits to LSU and Ohio State and is looking forward to a trip to Florida State next month.
"I did the camp at Ohio State and I liked it," Whitfield said. "It was a nice trip and I thought the area was nice and the coaching staff worked well with us. Coach [Urban] Meyer is a great coach and they are going to have a real good year."
Whitfield is likely heading to Florida State to camp in July. After backing out of his Miami commitment in March, Whitfield began to focus more of his attention on the Seminoles. While Whitfield has not indicated if he will be ready to make a decision before the start of his senior season, expect Florida State to be in the mix.
