Miami Central sophomore running back Dalvin Cooke (Miami/Miami Central) hinted that a commitment to Clemson was coming, while participating at the Heath Evans Foundation 7-on-7 tournament. On Wednesday he made it a reality.
"I really like a lot of the things that Clemson does on offense," Cooke said. "They always seem to have the right guys in the right position and when you see a player blow up like Sammy [Watkins] it gets your attention."
Cooke rushed for nearly 900 yards and nine touchdowns despite missing six games with injury and sharing carries with 2,000-yard rusher Joseph Yearby (FSU commit). He said he was looking forward to visiting the school this week for the Dabo Swinney Football Camp.
