Western (Davie, Fla.) running back Fabian Moreau has put together the sort of senior season that will allow him to be one of the late gems in the class of 2012. The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder’s efforts have stretch from coast-to-coast and he now has a UCLA offer.
“I received the UCLA offer on Thursday,” Moreau said. “I’m very interested in the program and it’s exciting because I’ve never been to California before.”
Expect that to change soon as Moreau says the Bruins should receive an official visit after his season is over.
Other schools have also stepping up their efforts as Moreau has offers from Kansas State, Western Michigan, Florida International and Florida Atlantic as well. He also says several other programs should be ready to offer soon.
“Indiana, Boston College and Maryland should be offering soon,” Moreau said. “And Oklahoma State got in touch with me recently and they are real interested.”
Moreau says he doesn’t plan on setting up any officials until his season is finished.
“I’m trying to focus on helping my team get to the playoffs,” Moreau added.
For the season Moreau has over 1,000 yards rushing and receiving along with 16 touchdowns.
