Cornerback Neiko Robinson transferred from Flomaton (Ala.) to Bratt (Fla.) Northview to play with his friends from youth football and hopefully pick up some more traction as a recruit.
In just a couple of months Robinson received an offer from UAB as well as interest from Florida State and Minnesota. On Friday another program that had been interested, Penn State, extended an offer and the 5-foot-11, 170-pound junior gave his verbal commitment to the Nittany Lions on Sunday.
"Coach [Ted] Roof and I have been talking for a few weeks now and I just like where Penn State is going to go with this coaching staff," Robinson said. "They are looking for guys that can be game changers and I think I can do that on the defensive side of the ball."
