Fort Pierce (Fla.) running back Marcus Levy has been a hot name during the spring and is hoping a strong offseason will continue to bring him more attention on the recruiting trail.
So far the 5-foot-9, 195-pound prospect has offers from Michigan State, Florida International, Boise State, Memphis, South Carolina, Mississippi State, Wake Forest and several others.
Levy is hoping to add to his list with a strong performance in Thursday's spring game against Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.).
"Dwyer is a big-time team and they always draw a lot of scouts," Levy said. "So it's a good opportunity for some new coaches to see me as well."
Levy took a visit to South Carolina last month to watch the Gamecocks' spring game and is hoping to make a return over the summer to see more of the campus.
"I was able to check out the athletic facilities last time but I couldn't see the whole campus," Levy said. "So I want to get back and tour the whole campus. Check out some of the academic buildings and things like that."
Otherwise Levy is unsure of his summer plans but will be touring campuses with several of his teammates.
"One of our coaches is putting a tour together and we'll compete in some camps," Levy said. "I'm just not sure exactly where we are going at this time."
