Auburn picked up commitment No. 9 earlier today with the pledge of Jeremy Johnson (Montgomery, Ala./Carver). Johnson, 6-foot-5 and 215 pounds, is a three-star quarterback and the No. 21 pocket passer.
“I visited there today and made decision to commit to Auburn,” Johnson said. “They were the first to offer and Auburn has been there from the beginning. I have a relationship and bond with them like no other. I love being around coach [Gene] Chizik. He’s a great person to be with. The same goes with all of their staff. I just realized it was time to commit.”
Johnson is also fired up about playing for new Tiger offensive coordinator Scott Loeffler.
