Plant City (Fla.) defensive lineman Devyn Salmon has had a strong spring. The 6-foot-1, 283-pound tackle has picked up a half dozen offers since the end of April and is ready to name a leader.
"I'm feeling the most love from Iowa State right now," he said. "I have a real good relationship with coach [Shane] Burnham and I know some players that go there and love it."
Salmon said he's continuing to receive interest from other programs, especially Florida and Miami, but either in-state program will have to deal with serious competition from the Cyclones.
