Sophomore running back Joseph Yearby (Miami/Miami Central) gave his verbal commitment to Florida State on Tuesday, the second commitment for the Seminoles in the Class of 2014.
Yearby, who rushed for over 2,000 yards last season, would be the second running back from Miami Central to join the Seminoles in recent years. Devonta Freeman was at Central in 2010 and led the Seminoles in rushing last season.
Yearby said his relationship with the coaches proved to be the difference.
