Austin Allen (Fayetteville, Ark.) is emerging as one of the South’s top quarterback prospects. According to his coach, Daryl Patton teams like USF, Ole Miss, Illinois, Arkansas State, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Tulsa and Auburn have all offered.
“Alabama called the other day,” coach Daryl Patton said. “So has Notre Dame. North Carolina, Maryland, Tennessee and Arizona State could all be close to offering him.”
Austin, 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, threw for over 4,000 yards and 46 touchdowns last season, his first as a starter.
