Marcus Jenkins-Moore (Woodland Hills, Calif./Pierce) is one of the top junior college linebackers in the nation and he’s currently sitting on a handful of offers from teams throughout the country.
“Arkansas, Kansas State, Kansas, Arizona, Texas Tech (first offer), San Diego State, Rutgers, Purdue, and Utah are some of the schools that have offered me,” Jenkins-Moore said. “So far I have seen San Diego State. I went down there and had a good visit. I know I will see Kansas State at the end of the month and I know I want to visit Texas Tech and Rutgers. Most of my visits will probably happen during the fall.”
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound LB from Middletown, Ky., didn’t sign with anyone out of high school.
“I went to Union Christian in Cincinnati and then to North Georgia College Prep in Dalton, Ga. A coach from Pierce saw my tape and they recruited me. I liked the fact that they were getting guys scholarships. My first season here last year was a good one and I think I did well. I am really looking forward to talking my game to another level this fall.”
Jenkins-Moore finished last season with 29 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and four tackles for a loss.
