According to Fayetteville head coach Daryl Patton, LB Brooks Ellis (Fayetteville, Ark.) has scholarship offers from teams like Arkansas, Arkansas State, Illinois, North Carolina, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.
“Those schools have all offered and teams like Notre Dame, Alabama and Stanford are on him,” Patton said. “He’s a kid that loves his academics. He has a 4.0 (GPA) and 31 ACT. He was the player of the year on defense as a sophomore. In this past season’s state title game he had three sacks and four tackles for a loss.
“He’s just a great athlete. He’s physical and can fly to the football. He can drop in coverage in our Tampa 2 on one play and rush the quarterback the next.”
