Chris Carson (Lilburn, Ga./Parkview), a big running back prospect from the Peach State, rushed for over 1,000 yards last season as a junior in one of Georgia’s toughest regions.
“This is a very powerful back,” Parkview coach Cecil Flowe said. “He also has a great sense of balance. Chris really got better and better as the season progressed. And remember, he hadn’t played since the ninth grade year. I was really amazed at what he did. This is a kid with a lot of talent, so he has worked hard. He has good speed and is powerful in his legs.”
According to Flowe the 6-foot-2, 190-pound back is already sitting on a handful of scholarship offers.
“USF has offered him,” Flowe said. “So has Eastern and Western Kentucky. Ohio has offered. I know there are a ton of schools that will come through this spring and I will bet he will get a lot of action from schools in the SEC and ACC.”
