Ely (Pompano Beach, Fla.) defensive back Rashard Robinson has seen his efforts pay off in a short time.
A week after recording a blazing 4.31 time at the Elite Scouting Services combine, the 6-foot-2, 170-pound transfer from nearby Deerfield Beach received his first offer from Florida State.
"I really don't know what to say about it because it's pretty exciting," Robinson said. "There were a lot of programs talking to me but FSU stepped up and made the call.
