It wasn’t too big of a surprise that Auburn landed defensive end standout Carl Lawson (Alpharetta, Ga./Milton) over the weekend. After his most recent visit to see the Tigers earlier this month, Gene Chizik and his staff become the frontrunners. Now they have him.
“Auburn is a place that I just really, really like,” Lawson said. “No, I love it there. It’s everything. Collectively they have I all need, every aspect. It’s home.”
It was Lawson’s sixth visit to see the Tigers. And this last trip he brought his family, which pretty much sealed the deal.
