Linebacker Reggie Carter (Snellville, Ga./South Gwinnett) was ready for a big year in 2011, but a knee injury sidelined him for most of the year. Now, he’s rehabbing and working his way back.
“Its full steam this fall,” Carter said. “If there is one thing I learned it’s you can’t take anything for granted. It could all be gone. I just realized how important this game is and you don’t know it until you lose it. The injury just gave me a real appreciation for the game.”
Carter was first offered a scholarship over a year ago as a sophomore when FSU, Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and many others all told him he could play for their schools. What’s he hearing now?
