“I just committed to Auburn,” Robinson said. “I really appreciated how they recruited me. I love how they keep it in the family. They are going to take care of me at Auburn and develop me as a player and person.”
Robinson, 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, has been to Auburn multiple times. Saturday's visit just solidified everything.
“I knew what I wanted to do when I was in a meeting with coach [Gene] Chizik,” Robinson said. “I knew I wanted to be an Auburn Tiger.”
Robinson also liked what he heard for new Tiger offensive coordinator Scott Loeffler.
“I really like their new offensive coordinator,” Robinson said. “They think I can be an impact receiver and coach Loeffler said they plan on putting me everywhere.”
Robinson committed to Auburn over Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Clemson and Arkansas. But he says he’s not done visiting schools.
“I still want to take my visits,” Robinson said.
Auburn landed one of the top prospects from the state of Alabama on Saturday with the commitment of wide receiver Earnest Robinson of Pinson Valley, Ala.
