St. Petersberg (Fla.) Catholic running back Ryan Green was extended an offer by USC yesterday afternoon according to his father.
"USC had been in communication with us and stopped by the school once before," said Vader Green. "We got in touch yesterday afternoon and they said he was one of the best they've seen and extended the offer."
Green said that his son is interested in USC.
"The program has a great history both on and off the field," Vader Green added.
Green said they have no current plans to visit USC this offseason but that could change. Green missed Florida's junior day due to basketball practice and will most likely miss FSU's junior day because they didn't plan for the trip.
"Ryan was still in basketball until Tuesday and had they won that game he would have played Saturday," Vader Green said. "So we couldn't plan on a trip to Tallahassee."
Next stop for Ryan Green appears to be Clemson on March 3.
"I think we'll be at Clemson and then probably head to a few other places," Vader Green added. "We're going to head up to Notre Dame again too."
