USF expecting many top prospects for its junior day

Even though speedy athlete Dejon Funderburk (Pensacola, Fla./Washington) received an offer from Alabama a couple of weeks ago, the 6-foot-1, 175-pound junior wants to remind all that South Florida gave him his first big offer.
And now he’s going to see the Bulls’ campus for the first time this weekend at their junior day event.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing the school and the city of Tampa,” Funderburk said. “I want to meet the coaches and really see what USF is all about.”
