Wide receiver Quinshad Davis (Gaffney, S.C.) just made his college selection, when he picked North Carolina over Tennessee and Wake Forest. This is a significant pickup for new Tar Heel head coach Dan Jones.
“Quinshad had three great schools to pick from,” said Dan Jones, Gaffney’s coach. “They have a great business school and that’s what he wants to study. He had a great visit to North Carolina and they are going to throw the heck out of the ball. That’s all appealing to Quinshad.”
Davis, 6-foot-4 and 190-pounds, had a brilliant senior season, catching 108 passes for over 2,000 yards and 24 scores.
