Judah Jones (Shreveport, La./Evangel Christian Academy) is a wide receiver prospect from the Bayou who now is headed to play his college football at Kansas State. Jones committed yesterday while on his official visit.

“I visited Kansas State this weekend,” Jones said. “This year in football I never went on any official visits, but I did go to a game at Arkansas.

“K-State has a great family atmosphere. Coach [Bill] Snyder is an awesome guy and awesome coach. I was privileged to be in his presence. He’s a man of his word and so is coach [Mike] Smith, their wide receivers coach. I think I fit in well offensively with what they do. I am just really excited I get the chance. They recruited me hard this year, and I am excited to be a part of K-State. There is no better place for me.”
