Beau Hankins (Birmingham, Ala./Jackson-Olin) made an official visit to Georgia Tech this weekend and came home very impressed with the Yellow Jackets.
“I had a great time at Georgia Tech,” Hankins said. “I feel real comfortable with those coaches, and I bonded with the players and some great other recruits that were there. It was nothing but a thrill. Georgia Tech grabbed my attention.”
Hankins will make a signing day decision at noon ET from his high school, and he still says he’s thinking about six schools.
“I will talk about them all with my mom and coach,” Hankins said. “It’s Georgia Tech, Arkansas, UCF, Wake Forest, Penn State and FIU. I will go through and do the pluses and minuses. They all have so much to offer and I can get a great degree at each one. I have to have a great degree to go into the work force.”
Hankins, 6-foot-1 and 230 pounds, is the No. 55 ranked middle linebacker in the nation and the No. 64 rated recruit from the state of Alabama.
