Former Georgia Tech commitment Junior Gnonkonde (Lakeland, Ga./Lanier County) is looking for a new home. He was told by the Yellow Jackets staff over the weekend that his scholarship offer has been withdrawn because his test score was too low.
“It took me by surprise,” Gnonkonde said. “I didn’t know that about the score. They didn’t give me a chance.”
Now teams are jumping on this defensive end/outside linebacker prospect. On Wednesday, he will head to Louisiana Tech for an official visit. Gnonkonde hopes to make another trip this weekend, although he’s unclear at this time who that visit will go to.
