Joseph Scelfo (Bogart, Ga./North Oconee) basically has things narrowed down to two schools. He's one of the nation's top center prospects and looks to be heading to South Alabama or Louisiana Tech.
"I have already visited Louisiana Tech and I love the town of Ruston," Scelfo said. "Plus, they are a winning program.
"I will visit South Alabama this weekend (Jan. 27). I like their campus and location. It's about an hour away. It's in Mobile, and we used to go near there all the time during the summer."
Scelfo, 6-foot-2 and 275-pounds, is the nation's No. 12-ranked center and the No. 82-rated recruit from the state of Georgia. He also made an official visit to Charlotte.
