Many say recruiting is a marathon and not a sprint. Case in point four-star defensive end Kenderius Whitehead (Lithonia, Ga./Martin Luther King). He has been a long-time lean to the Bulldogs, but now Georgia finds themselves out of the picture according to head coach Michael Carson.
“I think it’s just a situation at Georgia where they want him at outside linebacker,” Carson said. “They want him to stand up and play in space. He’s more comfortable with his hand down playing defensive end.”
So with UGA now out of the picture it’s a two-team race, or is it?
