Former Sooner set to join Vols

Blinn College (Brenham, Texas) wide receiver Kameel Jackson has committed to Tennessee's Class of 2014, multiple sources report.

The Arlington, Texas, native originally signed with Oklahoma in 2011 as a four-star prospect out of Houston's Sam Houston High School. At that time, ESPN said of Jackson: "He is tough, catches the ball in a crowd, can be a red-zone factor and is very well schooled in the return game. He has a chance to be a very competent wide receiver at the BCS level and could be used in the slot or on the outside."

The 6-foot, 200-pound Jackson left Oklahoma after seeing some action as a freshman and briefly attended Louisiana-Monroe before ending up at Blinn.

Tennessee's Class, ranked seventh nationally by ESPN, now has 11 pledges.
