Quinshad Davis (Gaffney, S.C./Gaffney) is one of the top uncommitted wide receivers still on the board. He has official visits lined up for Wake Forest (Jan. 13), Tennessee (Jan. 20) and Ole Miss (Jan. 27). But the last visit to the Rebels may or may not happen.
“North Carolina just offered Quinshad,” said Dan Jones, Gaffney’s coach. “He’s pretty fired up about that offer. South Carolina is here right now and they may want him to visit that weekend. I know he’s been to South Carolina a bunch. They were on him hard early and now they are trying to find the best athlete out there to finish out their class. I know UNC likes to throw the ball around and they are looking for receivers. I just spoke with coach (Larry) Fedora. He’s looking forward to possibly visiting North Carolina.”
