Three-star defensive back Kentrell Brice (Ruston, La./Ruston) was scheduled to visit Missouri this weekend, but at the last second the trip was cancelled.
“I was supposed to go,” Brice said. “But we had some issues at the last minute. Then, the coach that was recruiting me left to take a job at Memphis. So now I don’t even know if I will try and set it up again.”
Brice, 6-foot-0 and 180 pounds, now likes a trio of schools -- and one stands out.
“I really like Nebraska, Louisiana Tech and Oregon State,” Brice said. “They have all offered and I will likely visit them all in January. It should be a very busy month for me.
“Right now, I would favor Oregon State. They have a great opportunity for me to come in and play early. They have a a couple of guys graduating so I will have a better chance of playing. Plus, that’s a big time conference. I am anxious to get out there and visit.”
Brice is ranked the No. 59 cornerback in the nation and the No. 38 recruit from the state of Louisiana. He has not set up any official visits for January.
