K'Hadree Hooker is technically still a college football prospect, but he's more like a recruiter.
The 6-foot-2, 270-pound defensive tackle from Deep Run (N.C.) South Lenoir has had his eye on two prospects during the events leading up to the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas this weekend. As he's done since he committed to North Carolina State in August, Hooker is focused on swaying four-star athlete Todd Gurley from Tarboro (N.C.) High School.
“I'm in Gurley's ear,” Hooker said. “I ain't going to say everyday because we're real good friends and I've been through what he's going through so I don't want to put a lot of pressure on him. He pretty much knows how I feel.”
