Defensive back Jalen Battle (Davie, Fla./University School) said that in-home visits from Mark Stoops and D.J. Eliot in the last few weeks solidified his commitment to Kentucky.
“It meant a lot for both of them to come see me, and it definitely put Kentucky at the top,” Battle said. “I was concerned about a lot of things, from the coaches to whether they still want me, but I’m happy with everything right now.”
Despite being happy with Kentucky, Battle still has some unfinished recruiting business to attend to and that means official visits to Hawaii on Jan. 11 and Bowling Green on Jan. 18.
