Joe Craig was kicked off of Clemson's football team for violation of team rules after his freshman season.
He spent his sophomore year at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi and now finds himself heading back to Division I football.
Craig chose Memphis over Iowa State, Cincinnati and others Wednesday. He signed his letter of intent Wednesday morning and he'll join the Tigers for the spring semester.
