Drew Barker is a becoming popular person.
The junior quarterback from Hebron (Ky.) Connor has seen recent interest from Ohio State and Kentucky. Buckeye coaches were at his school on Tuesday. Kentucky football coaches were at his school to see the 6-foot-4, 205-pound prospect play basketball on Tuesday evening, Barker told ESPN.
Tennessee coaches were scheduled to be at Barker's school on Wednesday. It wouldn't be surprised if the Vols offered Barker a scholarship during the visit. While at Cincinnati, Tennessee head coach Butch Jones offered Barker a scholarship to play for the Bearcats. Jones was hired by Tennessee last week.
Barker already has a handful of scholarship offers, most notably from Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, Purdue and South Carolina. Several other schools have shown strong interest in the ESPN Watch List prospect.
