Heading into the Shrine Bowl, the highest-ranked uncommitted prospect is Tyrone Crowder (Rockingham, N.C./Richmond Senior), and the four-star offensive guard prospect made waves by cutting his list of finalists from three down to two.
"I eliminated North Carolina from my final choices and right now Clemson and Georgia are my final two," said Crowder. "Clemson and Georgia have been recruiting me since my freshman year and we kinda built up that bond and relationship longer than UNC."
Crowder, who will also play in the Under Armour All-America Game in January, is trying to fit in visits with practices for two all-star games along with schoolwork. Trying to get the big man pinned down to when he will have a final choice any time soon is going to be next to impossible.
"I don't really have a timeline, but I kind of want to at least take my official visits to the schools before I actually commit," Crowder said. "But it could as long as signing day, so I don't really have an official timeline."
