Almost immediately following the news that Cincinnati had hired Tommy Tuberville as coach, three-star running back commitment Robert Davis (Tampa, Fla./Carrollwood Day) removed himself from the commitment list.
Butch Jones' departure for Tennessee, though, had more to do with it.
"Yes sir, I have reopened my options after Butch Jones left and am now meeting with Memphis and Boston College," Davis said.
