Three-star prospect Troy McCollum (Miami/North Miami) had already planned to take some visits before deciding on whether to stick with his commitment to Florida International.
However the 6-foot, 165-pound senior seems pretty open after the firing of head coach Mario Cristobal.
“That was real surprising because coach Cristobal had done a real good job,” McCollum said. “He won the conference, took them to bowl games -- he’s a Miami guy.
