After being committed to FIU for six months, quarterback Brett Sheehan (Suwanee, Ga./Collins Hill) is back on the market after the firing of head coach Mario Cristobal.
“With Coach Cristobal being released, I'm going to open everything up,” Sheehan said. “I had a good relationship with him and he was actually up at my house last night along with Coach [Tim] Cramsey, the offensive coordinator, and Coach [Apollo] Wright, the running backs coach. But with all this happening today, I am decommiting and just seeing what happens with my recruitment from here.”
Sheehan earned offers from South Alabama, Georgia State, and FIU in the spring.
