Three-star safety Austin Logan (Tallahassee, Fla./Florida) is now in a holding pattern upon hearing the news Purdue has parted ways with head coach Danny Hope.
Logan, a commitment to the Boilermakers since July, still hasn't even returned home from his Purdue official yet. Once back home, and once the new hire has been made, Logan and his family will reevaluate where they stand with Purdue.
"We really liked Coach Hope, but we understand the business side of college football," said Logan's father, Terrell. "That being said, we are really interested in seeing who the new head coach will be and who he retains on the current staff."
At the time of his commitment, Logan chose Purdue over offers from Cincinnati, Duke, FAU, FIU, Indiana, Navy, Northwestern, USF, Southern Miss, Stanford, Troy, Utah, Vanderbilt and Western Michigan.
