Dekota Jones is hitting the recruiting trail.
The junior athlete prospect from Louisville (Ky.) St. Xavier will visit Purdue this weekend for the Penn State game. The Boilermakers are one of two programs to show early interest in Jones, along with Ball State.
The 5-foot-9, 183-pound prospect plays running back and cornerback for St. Xavier. He has shown impressive numbers in the weight room, especially with his lower body. Jones said he squats 405 pounds, dead lifts 415 and bench presses 235.
"I am a very hard working person and player who will do anything to win on and off the playing field, as evident by my current 3.1 GPA," Jones said.
