ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Airius Moore (Beavercreek, Ohio/Beavercreek) headed to Tropicana Field last week for the Under Armour Combine in hopes of further improving his stock.

The 6-foot, 215-pound linebacker has offers from Cincinnati and Illinois and is hearing from several programs in the Northeast and Midwest.

"Boston College sends me a lot of mail," he said. "Penn State, Ohio State, Louisville, Iowa -- I can't really think of any more."

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- With four offers already, ESPN Watch List member Adam Choice (Thomasville, Ga./Thomas County Central) is off to a good start.

Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Mississippi have come in, and from the 5-foot-9, 196-pound running back's perspective, that is plenty of a good thing.

"I am willing to take anything," Choice said. "I am just happy at least some people are interested in me. It is a great honor and I am very blessed to have some schools looking at me."

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Corey Holmes (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) had a relatively quiet holiday season in terms of recruiting.

With the dead period in swing, his contact with college coaches was limited. Miami (Fla), though, seems to have begun to show some effort in getting the 6-foot-1, 170-pound receiver on campus.

"I think it was just this week, I heard from Miami and they invited me to a thing that they have down in Coral Gables," he said. "So far, that is the only the school to hit me up."

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Class of 2014 running back prospect Johnathan Thomas (Danvers, Mass./St. Johns Prep) posted one of the top 40-yard-dash times at the Under Armour National Combine on Friday. The 5-foot-10, 196-pound athlete turned in a blazing 4.47 40 time.

Thomas is expected to be one of the top prospects in Massachussetts and he's already hearing from some of the top schools in the northeast.

"I have offers from Boston College, UMass, Virginia and UConn. Penn State is showing a lot of interest," Thomas said. "So is Virginia Tech."

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- ESPN Watch List offensive tackle Braden Smith (Olathe, Kan./Olathe) has taken the last few weeks to sit back and relax.

With the dead period in full effect, he was given some time to himself. But now that the contact period is about to get going again and teams are finishing up their bowl schedules, it will pick up again.

"Pretty much it has been going slow," he said. "But I think it is going to pick back up in January after all the bowls and stuff. I will try to take some visits to Texas and Notre Dame, places like that."

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Class of 2014 prospect Michael O'Connor was one of the top quarterbacks on hand at the Under Armour National Combine on Friday.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pound signal-caller, who was born and raised in Canada, is starting to receive college interest from several programs.

As a sophomore at Ashbury College in Ontario, Canada, O'Connor threw for 51 touchdowns and only seven interceptions. Impressive numbers, considering he was playing 12-on-12 football. Last season, O'Connor moved to Chattanooga, Tenn., where he played at Baylor high school. After one season at Baylor, O'Connor and his family decided to move to Bradenton, Fla., where will he will play at IMG Academy, an upstart football program.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- 2014 safety C.J. Reavis (Chester, Va./Thomas Dale) has added three new offers recently from Maryland, North Carolina and North Carolina State.

With Boston College, Virginia and Virginia Tech in hand already, it provides a nice, local base for his recruiting options.

"They are all pretty close to home," he said before the Under Armour Combine. "They talk to me a lot and show me a lot of love.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- George Campbell (Tarpon Springs, Fla./East Lake) has the luxury of experience, even if it is not his own.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound sophomore athlete is leaning on his 2014 teammates offensive lineman Mason Cole and wide receiver Artavis Scott for advice. And while those two are still just juniors, they have been well exposed to the recruiting process already.

"Experiencing this with Mason Cole and Artavis Scott has helped me a lot," said Campbell. "They are helping me figure this out a lot."

At Friday's Under Armour Combine, Daub impressed enough to accepted an invitation to the 2014 Under Armour Game.

"That's really all I came out here for, to compete," he said. "I probably won't do all the combine stuff, but I want to compete and get better."

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- It has only been a few weeks since Chad Thomas (Miami/Booker T. Washington) and his teammates were crowned state champions, but he's already added a major offer.

Big East and Sugar Bowl champions Louisville have entered the picture, but the ESPN Watch List defensive end still has the familiar three on top.

Having offers from Cincinnati, FIU, Georgia Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisville, North Carolina, South Carolina, UCF, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech, he does have options. But the 6-foot-2, 165-pound receiver is looking for the best match he can find.

"I am looking for somewhere where I can come in and compete for a starting job right away and that is going to fit me as one that throws the ball around," he said.
