Senior defender Paul Davis (Cairo, Ga./Cairo) flipped his commitment Saturday from Temple to Georgia Tech, multiple sources report.
The 5-foot-11, 201-pound safety and outside linebacker also holds scholarship offers from Chattanooga, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern and Presbyterian.
Davis was a standout this spring on the Nike Combine circuit, posting a 4.69 40-yard dash, 4.38 20-yard shuttle, 35-inch vertical and impressive 103.38 SPARQ.
The Yellow Jackets, who recently lost three-star fullback Brendan Douglas (Augusta, Ga./Aquinas) to rival Georgia, have 15 players in their 2013 class.

The University of Georgia has had a rough 48 hours along the recruiting trails, but the Bulldogs’ coaching staff got some good news Friday evening as an in-state prospect became commitment No. 30 for the 2013 class.
The addition is even sweeter considering the prospect was originally committed to a rival program.
Brendan Douglas (Augusta, Ga./Aquinas) committed to Georgia Tech on Nov. 13, but a late offer from Georgia to play running back was too much to pass up.
“Yes sir, I committed to Georgia,” Douglas said.
Douglas joins ESPN 300 prospect A.J. Turman to give Georgia two running back commitments for the 2013 class. As a senior, Douglas rushed for 1,424 yards and 24 touchdowns.
He also had 157 tackles, eight tackles for loss, four sacks, four fumbles forces, three fumble recoveries, one defensive TD and one pass breakup. He averaged 42 yards per punt. Douglas was also a standout at the Mark Richt Camp and performed very well in the timed drills.
