Mike Dudek: Seven receptions, 97 yards, one touchdown, 103 kick return yards and a touchdown in a 40-25 win over Waubonise Valley.

From official visits to commitments, here’s a look at a few programs that highlight a busy time in this week’s Big Ten storylines.

Buckeye leafs

The fact Ohio State opened as 57-point favorites against Florida A&M didn’t scare off some big unofficial visitors, as ESPN Junior 300 running back Larry Scott -- L.J. for short -- out of Hubbard (Ohio) High School will lead a group of three big names with unofficial visits to the Horseshoe.

Big Ten commits and targets were all over the field making plays this weekend for their teams. Here is a look at some of the top high school performances from Big Ten prospects.

Illinois
Mike Dudek: The Neuqua Valley (Ill.) receiver had 12 receptions for 244 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown touchdown in a 58-35 loss to Naperville Central.

QB Diamont commits to Indiana

Quarterback Alexander Diamont (Los Angeles/Venice) went into his visit to Indiana with a plan.

It was two plans actually, as he knew what he would do if an offer was extended, and knew what he would do if an offer didn't come. As it turned out, the 6-foot-2, 175-pound quarterback was able to go with Plan A. Indiana offered Diamont a scholarship and the quarterback accepted it immediately, becoming the Hoosiers' third commitment of the 2014 class.

After throwing for the Indiana coaches at their camp, Diamont said he sat down with them and was told they would discuss things the following morning.
