Illinois loses Lamar Atkins
Linebacker Lamar Atkins (Miami, Fla./Miami Norland) has followed his brother and high school teammate Keith Brown in decommitting from Illinois, multiple sources report.
The brothers committed to Illinois prior to Ron Zook's firing. Brown is now committed to Louisville and Atkins is interested in the Cardinals.
The Fighting Illini have 14 commitments for the Class of 2012.
