The 5-foot-10, 171-pound athlete said he is looking forward to getting back to UF to see what all the Gators have to offer.
"I went to Friday Night Lights last year and I've been back, so this time, I'm looking forward to seeing the other players and talking to the coaches again," Lammons said. "I'm just looking forward to seeing some of the stuff I haven't seen the other times I've been there."
Lammons has narrowed his choices to five: Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and Miami and talked about each of his top schools.
Florida: "Actually, Coach T-Rob [Travaris Robinson] is one of the best coaches I have talked to. We have built a great relationship. It just took off after I went and saw their facilities and talked to coach [Will] Muschamp.”
Alabama: "Their tradition is wonderful. They eat, sleep and breathe football. Everything they do is all about football. They go 100 percent in everything they do -- no slacking -- and I would like to be a part of that. They are the best in the nation."
Tennessee: "Me and coach [Willie] Martinez have a great relationship. Their facilities are beautiful, and they have one of the best fan bases in the SEC."
South Carolina: “I like the coaching staff -- especially coach Grady Brown. We've built a good relationship. He has been one of the best coaches to me, and I just love South Carolina.”
Miami: "Just growing up watching Miami, I always liked them a lot. The coaches have shown me a lot of love from day one."
Lammons has visited all of his favorite schools except South Carolina and Alabama but said he would like to visit both schools soon.
The four-star athlete is good friends with Ermon Lane (Homestead, Fla./Homestead), the No. 1-ranked wide receiver in the country.
"Ermon and I are really good friends," Lammons said. "We have talked about playing at the same school, but, then again, we want to go somewhere where we can make the most improvement for ourselves.”
Lammons said he could make his decision in the near future.
"It's really hard for me to choose right now," Lammons said. "I really don't know where I'm going yet, but I'll probably make up my mind sometime before I officially announce my final decision."
